Thousands of area families eagerly await what is known as Consignment Sale Season. Consignors set their own prices and prepare the items in the comfort of their homes. Just Between Friends has a convenient, free online tagging system which gives the power to set the prices to the people who are selling them. Consignors earn up to 70% of the money that their items bring in.
Shoppers experience the rush of finding TONS of great bargains under one roof. Many shoppers are able to outfit their families for the entire season exclusively at Just Between Friends sales, saving hundreds of dollars.
Volunteers get the chance to shop at the events before they are open to the public and make more money than consignors who do not volunteer.
“Now is the time to go through closets, drawers, toy boxes, bins, grandma’s house, the garage, the backyard and anywhere you find items that your children have outgrown or no longer use,” said Bridget Jones, coordinator of the Just Between Friends Georgetown/ Round Rock events.
“Gently-used clothing, games, toys, DVDs, outdoor playground equipment, strollers, nursery décor, Jump-a-roos, Bumbos and pretty much anything else you have that might be needed to raise a child can be resold at a fair price at Just Between Friends. It benefits the family that no longer needs the items and it blesses the families who are looking for just those items at bargain prices.”
There will be a Just Between Friends Consignment Event coming to Round Rock at the Old Settlers Association, October 14-17, 2015. This event will benefit, in part, the Texas Baptist Children's Home and the WBCO.
